saw this on wikipedia...Clinical trials are underway for a medication that can be taken by coeliacs before eating gluten that will protect against an auto-immune reaction, and hence prevent intestinal damage. Alba Pharmaceuticals announced in April, 2006 that Phase I trials for safety were complete. Phase II trials are expected to begin as early as the summer of 2006. The medication is a zonulin inhibitor peptide; people with several autoimmune disorders including type I diabetes, coeliac disease, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis appear to produce high amounts of zonulin. Zonulin is implicated in causing increased permeability of the intestines as related to coeliac disease.

Such a simple thing really, but satin gown or PJs combined /c a satin bottom sheet, allows you to move gently in your sleep,(to prevent stiffening up by morning) in such a way that the pain of moving after having been in one position does not become great enough to get you wide awake and interupt the restorative stage of sleep we all need so badly.
Does not have to be costly, many ways to improvise. Try it, you won't believe the huge dif~ 'til the next morning,honest.

I was introduced to this book by my daughter's preschool teacher, and I can't tell you how many times I've reread it in the past 4 years.... Buy it, read it, live it!

If you live in or near Greenville, Spartanburg, or Cherokee country, SC then there is Miracle Hill Ministries. in Greenville there is Shephard's Gate it has a progrem called Renewals for women's drug/alcohol addiction and a men's shelter with Outreach for drug/ alcohol addictions for men. As well as a boys shelter and a children's home.

Also in spartburg is the Haven and in Greenville is the salvation army.

I am in Ontario, and we have The Salvation Army Emergency Housing Services. We also have Food Banks and Rent Loans to get an apartment.

I was approached to be in this study. They are giving Celiac's gluten filled pills as part of the double blind study. They state that the side effects of the study should be minor digestive upsets. I really think they have no idea what the disease is all about.
I can't believe the FDA is allowing this study to go forward. It just seems that this is more misunderstanding about this disease.
