Rice Chex cereal is gluten free. Please note that only the new REFORMULATED boxes of Rice Chex are gluten free.

These boxes will be marked Gluten Free on the front of the box. They are also being made in a dedicated facility so there's no cross contamination either.

However, there are still old boxes on the shelf that contain barley malt and are not gluten free. Make sure you check the box for the Gluten Free labeling.

I have yet to find them myself! I have checked with 2 Shaw's stores and 2 Super Stop n shops. Nothing doing!

We are in MN and found it at Rainbow last night. Love that it is about 1/2 the price of all the other GF cereals!

I found it in Wal Mart for $2.68 a box!!

I finally found them too! I also had a coupon and ended paying $1.89 for the box.

Wow! I haven't paid this little for cereal in ages.

Hey I have yet to find it also, I've found the old boxes still. I've looked at all the grocery stores in Myrtle Beach even Walmart doesn't have it yet. I really to find it!!!

Super Walmart in Camden SC has the new boxes!! Even states GLUTEN FREE right on the front of the box......so Myrtle Beach should be getting some soon. I would speak with the manager who is in charge of that department and inquire as to when they will be getting the new shipment in. My son had some for breakfast this morning and loved every bite of it !!!!

I emailed chex, since i've been craving it since I found out they make it GF (i never liked cereal b4) and they said it was shipped out in Feb so it could take awhile for some stores. Thanks!

THis is great information. The only problem is that many factories process with GF ingredients on machinery that also processes gluten contaminated products. There is no way they can get all the gluten off the machinery or out of the factory. That means these wonderfully considerate companies are really producing contaminated products.

I really hope we can all eat Rice chex because I love rice chex.

I am holding judgement until I hear from some other Celiac's who eat these without getting sick. So keep up posted those of you who are willing to try it out.
