Hello. My name is TerrieAnn I have the Nick- name of, "Stubborn." I wear them both with honor. I am in the final stages of being diagnosed with Celiac. Among other illnesses, I have utilized D.S. for over a decade now. I decided you will be my best bet for honest, compassionate support through this ordeal. D.S. has always been informative, with people who greatly care. I have best friends all over the world because of this site. It is a wonderfully, successful endeavor begun by loving people. I have spent 8 plus years getting this I'll. I am now where I cannot eat any foods without dire consequence. In the U.S. I am beginning to wonder whether the medical community just keeps us sick for job security. So many things I read on line today from MayoClinic, to other sources, told me I could& should have been informed by many a doc through the years what to do to prevent what I am now experiencing. Oh well.... here I am, so here we go from. Many worries, like an ulcer that won't heal on my colon for 8 years now. Worsening symptoms dispite changing my diet. I was born with the celiac gene but not diagnosed until I was 54 years old. I always was sick as a child with intestinal problems. For some of us it takes a long time to get diagnosed.
