Does anyone have any advice on how to stop a cat from meowing and scratching at the bedroom door in the middle of the night.
We've had her for three months now (we adopted two) but the other one doesn't do this. She insist on coming into the bedroom late at night but she doesn't always stay asleep sometimes she might pounce at our feet or just start playing so we can't let her sleep in the room with us.

Any advice would help. Thanks.

At other times at 5:00 AM, I wake up to hear the thundering herd and it's my male and female cats (14 and 12 years old respectively) racing each other around and playing. She will come running into my room and jump up on the bed, and he will be on the floor and let out a mournful meow which translates to "Mom, we were playing and she jumped up on the bed. Kick her off the bed like a soccer ball and back into play."

She jumps back off the bed and I hear the herd thunder off down the stairs, then back up the stairs, then up the carpeted car furniture. Eventually, they tire out and take a break and get in bed with me and we all fall back to sleep.

Excuse me, that should be "carpeted cat furniture" not car furniture.

Wow, AsTime GoesBy, your cats sound like my two running thru the house makin all kinds of racket...in about an hour they also tire out and take a siesta...LOL
