Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Support Group
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist causing symptoms like tingling, numbness, night time wakening, pain, coldness, and sometimes weakness in parts of the hand. CTS is more common in women than it is in men, and has a peak incidence around age 50 (though it can occur in any adult).
My doctor suspects that my RA is leading to CTS. The pain is bearable and i use ultrasound to treat it. My ultrasound treatment works well but in case it doesn't always or I can't ultrasound; i would like other options (BESIDES PRESCRIPTION DRUGS) preferably something all natural. I'm new to CTS can anyone help?
I also use the frozen gel packs with cotton covers with one on the bottom of my hand and wrist and the other on the top of my hand and wrist. That helps a lot.
