Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Support Group

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist causing symptoms like tingling, numbness, night time wakening, pain, coldness, and sometimes weakness in parts of the hand. CTS is more common in women than it is in men, and has a peak incidence around age 50 (though it can occur in any adult).

    CT release on both hands?

I have RA induced CT and am having the release done on the right hand next month. I will have to have the left done also. Has anyone had both hands done at the same time? I figure it would save time/money to do it at the same time, but I also don't want to be too indisposed by having both hands immobile. Would appreciate your thoughts and advice.

My ultrasound treatment works well but in case it doesn't always or I can't ultrasound; i would like other options (BESIDES PRESCRIPTION DRUGS) preferably something all natural. I'm new to CTS can anyone help?

I was referred to a pain clinic and given meds. I do not want to rely on pills. According to the...

Does CTS cause your thumb, or other fingers to "lock up" in a curled position or to drop things you thought you had a firm grip on?
