Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist causing symptoms like tingling, numbness, night time wakening, pain, coldness, and sometimes weakness in parts of the hand. CTS is more common in women than it is in men, and has a peak incidence around age 50 (though it can occur in any adult).

Hi,

I have CTS, the doctor gave me that wonderful test to tell me I really had it,..

I had a bad iron deficiency due to bleeding in the stomach, and was started on Iron Supliments, my wrists have not hurt in a long time and I have not worn my braces.. I took myself off the iron and today my wrists and hands started hurting again, today I got the supliments again and will experiment, I know they say a B vitamin is recomended and Im wondering if My low iron could be agervating my symptoms as well.

Hi, I will keep that in mind, No I have not tried it, but read just now that it's good for arthritis, I have not had much trouble lately I rarely wear my braces now, but I will keep that in mind if it flares up again Sounds good, and maybe if I start geting Arthritis I will take that anyway, hehe,.. thanks..

I take an Iron Supplement every day and have just been told that CTS. So I don't think that would be a problem. Also, I take B12 daily because I feel tired because of my blood pressure meds. I didn't start having any problems that I really noticed until about 7 weeks ago and it was bad the tingling in my arm feeling like my arm was asleep or something.
Please let me know if the Iron helps you out, maybe that is what has helped me all these years
