Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist causing symptoms like tingling, numbness, night time wakening, pain, coldness, and sometimes weakness in parts of the hand. CTS is more common in women than it is in men, and has a peak incidence around age 50 (though it can occur in any adult).

YEAH I HAD AND EMG IN MY ARMS TODAY,YOU KNOW WITH THE NEEDLES. IN A WEEK AND A HALF THEY ARE GOING TO DO MY LOWER BACK,AND LEGS , TOOK TO PAIN PILLS I HAD A BAD EXPERENCE, BEFORE WITH EMG'S THIS TIME I DID NOT FEEL ANY PAIN....AND HOW WAS EVERYBODYS ELSE'S EXPERENCE WITH EMG?

I had this done in my wrist and Shoulder It wasnt painful but it didnt work a few weeks to a month later I was in pain yet again:(

i hear so many different things
about carpril tunnel, ,can they really stop nerve damage?.
going though all of these other test is a drag, but i still have my limbs so i pray god will savethem for me.

Hey I had an EMG, on my right arm, and he actually found out that I had moderate CTS, you have 3 levels of course, mild, moderate, severe, in which my case he suggested therapy and I just recently got a steroid injection which seems to be somewhat working, haven't had pain but tingling was very apparent, contact if you want to hear more.

well i went yessterday. they wonted to give me 12 needles, but, 4 was to go in my lower
back i was not haveing it,,,,
no way , my leg's i delt with that but the back no
i'm going to have and mri done on my back, my doctor
told me it was my choise.
