Have you considered being "too busy" to drive to the ER. Suggest that she call an ambulance if it hurts that bad. Did wonders for dad's recent "backache".
Why do you have to force her to go if she does not want to? That is very childish of her. Perhaps let her make the actual choice. Sounds like she is playing a game with you.
But hopefully this will go away by itself. My bigest concern is my mental health and the constant stress from mom. She has constant problems lately. Minor, medium, and serious ones. And her constant worry, anxiety and negativity gets to me. Just started trying to be positive person. After hearing negative all my life.

I forget, do you have medical POA? This will let you talk to the doctor and get some serious straight answers. They can help you know what is a serious symptom and what can be ignored.
