Need support- Not getting it from Husband

Mom died almost two months ago. That I'm happy about. But it's stressful all the stuff I have to do as executor. And dealing with brother and maybe having to foreclose on commercial property. Husband seems proud that I'm doing good job. But doesnt know how to be supportive. And feels that my mom, my problem. He's always been like this with anything to do with my mom. He doesn't expect or want me to help with anything to do with his father. Just want some emotional support from someone.

I think you're doing a great job! You can't expect everything to fall into place in one day. Take each day as it comes and what you can't do in one day there's always tomorrow.

Try not to worry so much. You're doing fine and you'll be fine.

Have you considered couples therapy?

It looks like my mom passed only 2 weeks before yours. I'm sorry you are not getting support. I was lucky, I have no one but my friends became Angels and all helped me. 15 of my friends came to my mom's funeral and there were at least 8 horseshoes of flowers from friends across Canada.
It is tough, I am the sole inheritor so I guess It was easier for me, to deal with it. I still miss her 3 months later, I feel so alone. Good luck to you, I wonder if you ask a friend to help you if someone would step up to the plate. Hugs

My dad passed in Dec. My mom has dementia and is very stressful. I too take care of everything here at home and for my mother. I've been very upset with my husband too. He also isn't supportive. Let me know if you've found a solution.
