Mom had dental surgery again today. This is number 6 for the year. Post implant work now. Dentist will not remove all teeth for dentures. Said she has too many good ones remaining. I mean..out of 12!
OK. at least we will do better on taxes this year. But a rough way to.
Today, Mom is so fussy about it. She is poking and looking. Cant get the oozing to stop with all the tapping she is doing to the site with her tea bag. I am going to give her a big dose of pain med and sneak that wad out of her mouth.
I know it must be tiring. But I am also weary from the whole messing messing and more messing with it.
She even told me something about "Clotting Factor" at some point. Where she comes up with this. Maybe a discussion the DR had when she was sedated.
Well, in a few weeks she ought to have one side to chew with. We have been all soft and soups since end of DEC 2013. Been a long year and I do feel for her.

My mother has a habit of tapping the counter or table top with her nails and it absolutely drives me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the clotting factor has to do with whatever medication she is taking that could interfere with clotting. Keep the gauze in her mouth for as long as you can. It keeps the food particles out. The last thing you want is an infection.
All she's doing by poking at the site is aggravating it. I'd tell her to stop OR, you could sedate her. OMG, I could get arrested for that statement.
