Caring For Aging Parents Support Group
Caring for aging parents can be a difficul time as we become the caretakers for our parents. This broad responsibility can encompass such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care. Whether you have just started caring for your parents or just need a place to talk, we're here.

Oh and you're the better of your siblings.
You've gotten some good advice about self-care. I think we all know we need it, but I've discovered that I actually have to make myself do it, i.e., put it on the weekly schedule and let my loved ones know that I'm not available. For example, I've had to tell my elder loved one that I can spend Saturday or Sunday afternoon with her but not both, and then gently remind her when she tries to make plans for both days. I usually use my alone time to enjoy the house to myself, binge watch shows that my husband doesn't like, and catch up on my own to-do list so that I can go into the next week feeling (somewhat!) saner.
Be gentle with yourself, and don't be afraid to start setting some boundaries. Easier said than done, I know, but well worth it for your own well-being, and for your relationships, as well. God bless!
