Dad had a LLC company. Mom got it when he died. he company is being sued. Paint company didnt get much of what they were owed. But they dragged out the job and didn't do it correctly. Inspectors said it was inncorect and had to be redone. The place was painted because of a fire. I think they were painters. Dads old partner in business is handling the building stuff for mom. She pays him. Lawyer representing dads old partner called me. Said she couldnt handleLLC also.But she had told mom she would try to get small payments if the painters won. I called dads old partner. Lawyer said she is not sure he understood she couldn't represent him and company. I tell him lawyer said you need to get another lawyer for company. He tells me he knows. He doest think she is experienced in this area. He is looking for a lawyer with experience. Mom calls him after me. She calls me back and says that dads old partner says that I must have misunderstood the lawyer. I am pretty sure he ment that you need another lawyer to represent the company. It sound like he told me one thing and mom anoth e r thing. Unless he just said that to mom to calm her down. She is extremely anxious now. I know nothing of what the company did wrong. Dates of work done. Date of start. Don't even know company name. Sick of being in the middle.
