Hey Folks, this is my favorite time of year. The notion of "longer days" for sunshine have always uplifted my spirits. I especially like to watch the sunset.
In my part of the world the true darkness is about 10PM. Last year, I worked nights and also watched the sunrise or day begin. It was another treat for my things to celebrate.
While I try to look forward to nice things there are moments in my world crashing like wild storms at my shore. Having had my share of "help" to manage this there are days :) You know the kind...no matter what you do reality gets to be a bummer. However, I refuse to allow this upset to be my lot in life and redirect to carry on. I am so thankful to former cognitive behavioral
advice that helps me through the ups and downs.

The valium makes him forget that he should and should not do so he has to be watched constantly or go in his crate which seems unfair since he is only scared and I shoved the meds down his throat.
Other than that, YEAH, it is great.
Oh except for the mosquitoes. I really hate them.
Other than that,
opps, I have to clean bird feeders every few days.
Other than that,
the heat is a real pain in the butt. Like Trojan, I have worse pain from heat.
Other than that, ..................
Then the ambulance crew gets cranky about having to start TWO IV's for me,
AND hubby has to drive
AND he always forgets my shoes
AND the whole day is wasted
AND
well, it really is not that bad. I mean the hummingbirds have come back and the male is setting up his territory. Have that to look forward to.
I can't go outside without slathering myself in gooey sunscreen and stinky bug repellent. Then when I'm out there I get to feel sick as a dog and endure the snarky looks and comments from those fools that don't get it.
