Just got back from taking care of mom for two and a half days after she got out of hospital. Cause of her personality and anxiety was verry stressed out. Got home couple of hours ago and husband tells me he is to do volunteer taxes on Monday, Tuesday and Wedensday. He was not supposes to do Wednesday. He is exausted from constantly do taxes. Going to library and at our home to do them. For hours at a time. He can not say no to anyone that asks him to help. I know he is doing this to himself. And he is paying the price with no free time and extreme tiredness. But i feel bad for his exhaustion and also worry about a car accident from tiredness. He says he will be fine and likes to help. Also that he has to resiprocate a man by helping him with hisvolunter tax site because the man volunteers at my husbands tax site. My mom is healing and probly will have issues health and otherwize that i have to get involved in. I am ready to scream!!!!!!

Please don't take this negatively but I think you need to worry about 2 people right now. Your mother, and first and foremost, YOU... Your husband has CHOSEN to volunteer, no-one is making him do it nor is he going to take food from your mouths if he doesn't because it's all volunteer work. Your husband is a big boy and needs to make his own decisions. You, have to take care of you, and your mother who needs help. Unlike your husband. If you keep stressing about him, you are going to make yourself sick and then you are not able to help or be there for anyone. Please put yourself first honey. Hugs GB

Yup. I agree with gramybear. You need to look after yourself. His stress will be over by April 15th...And it is all his choice.
Don't waste your energy worrying about what might never happen. You have expressed your concern, now let it go.
You are obviously exhausted, so rest while you can before the next emergency.

Look at it this way: April 15th is just a few days away. Then his volunteer time should be over and life can move closer back to normal.

Hi. New here. But my hubby does that a lot. Makes me nuts until I realize I have to let it drive him nuts all on his own. I hope you can get some good rest.
