Caring For Aging Parents Support Group
Caring for aging parents can be a difficul time as we become the caretakers for our parents. This broad responsibility can encompass such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care. Whether you have just started caring for your parents or just need a place to talk, we're here.

My dad is like your dad. It is like having 5 year olds for parents.
I'm self employed so know what it is like when you don't go to work (no pay and the loss of clients for me). I am kinda lucky right now, because I do not know where my dad is and haven't spoken to him in a month. My dad was living in foster care, but got kicked out because he is a sex offender (tryed to get his care giver to give him oral sex and she kicked him out) and my mom is too upset and asking for his phone number and address of his new residence (hi now has a male caregiver) would be like stabbing her in her already fragile, hurting life right now.
Life sure has some interesting twists!
I meant I was lucky in the sense that I don't have to deal with him at the moment as I am trying to get my mom stabalized 700 miles away.
I will be taking 2-3 weeks off in July to go fix her life....uuuuggggghhhhh
