Caring For Aging Parents Support Group
Caring for aging parents can be a difficul time as we become the caretakers for our parents. This broad responsibility can encompass such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care. Whether you have just started caring for your parents or just need a place to talk, we're here.
I hope you get some times with Mom to remember and treasure during these tough times. My thoughts are with you.

HCard - it was okay. I for the first time actually went home for 2 of those hours. I remember how we all spoke of taking care of ourselves, and VERY unlike me, I went home, took a shower, fresh clothes, brushed teeth :) made a few calls, then back to the ER. Was good, and the nurse assured me Mom really never was conscious (therefore didn't miss me).
Pepper Man, I have to speak the positive - I am praying my sister Bev and I will get to exchange a few words with Mom. The last few days when I've offered food or drink to Mom, she's used her new (weak and scratchy) voice to say "coffee." I would LOVE to hear Mom say "coffee" another time!!!
very very very tough day today.
Thanks everyone for your understanding and lending a shoulder. I appreciate it so much!
