A big hello to several of you I know from a time ago (8 months or more).
So many changes to my life.
The big one is that my Mom is now "Home Bound" under Medicare guidelines.
I feel so clueless about how to get additional care for her in her home. The NP overseeing her told me to contact medicare to see what at home services Mom could use at this point.
What???
I am trying hard to focus several details. Where to start. What to do. Who to call.
For some reason I thought this came from the primary care? Who would be telling me what was going on.
Having gone through A LOT getting these ducks in a row is just not flowing from me. I use to be so sharp and on the ball with this.
Perhaps seeing the changes has me somewhat worried that Moms changes are getting worse and she needs care that I am not able to provide by myself.
Anyone with ideas please share.

I suggest you call some of the LTC facilities in your area and ask to speak with their social worker.
