you know it never rains, it pours. so my wife fell. which is my fault. i left someone else in charge of her while i went out and did nothing but get away for a half hour.i left her sister in charge of her and her sister is a darn psw for a living you think she could have prevented this. anyways different story.
so she fell and has slipped a disk in her back which is pinching nerves in her back and now has almost no feeling in her right side.and her totaly mobility has decreased to 30 %. and no they wont operate because of her spinabifida.
so now her pain level has increases dramatically with less mobility. and all because i went out for half a darn hour.
when she first stands up from a sitting position she needs total 100 % suport to take the first few steps then less support from there. but she had to go to the bathroom and with her issues when she has to go she has to go now. and she asked her sister for help who was aparently too busy to help her get up so she got up on her own and fell,
i am angry frustrated concerned and so much more all rolled into one. i just dont get why things can never get better

I hope things do improve for you, caring can seem like an endless and thankless task.
Please, let go of your guilt. You don't need to carry it. The guilt doesn't belong to you!
And, someday, things just may get better- have you looked into getting a support system in place for her? There are many avenues available to you & other Caregivers here will be able to show you where to go to bring in additional professional help.

and the real kicker is i looked into getting someone professional to come in and help once in while is not sick enough to get someone in for free and we cant afford to pay someone to come in. and we make too much money to get subisdized care.
she still has 30 % mobility and that disqualifies her free care.
