Today I wish I could crawl underneath a huge rock, and just let life pass me by!
I've been a caregiver for so many years and still managed to deal with everyday problems and crisis situations. But lately I just cannot cope anymore! I have to carry on, because there is no-one else who can take care of my very sick Down Syndrome daughter. She is still deteriorating, and I know that I'm busy losing her also.
God has never let me down in the past, and I know He never will. He always gave me the strength to carry on, but this time I feel too deep down in a dark hole, almost beyond His reach. I need to "bounce back", but this time I just don't know how.

You would never be out of Gods reach,,,not even under a rock. Now It's when you need him the most. Takings care of a love one seems the hardest thing to do, I disagree, losing them it is by far the most difficult. We want to be there every second and run away at the same time, specially with a child.
Let the knowledge, that you have been there for her and have done your best, comfort you during this difficult time.
Just before Jesus was arrested, he prayed on a rock and wished to avoid what was to come. He had to live that moment. So do we.
