For the last few weeks I have been staying at work for lunch instead of going home because I'm trying to eat healthier and my mom and I always end up fighting if I go home. Today I was busy before work so I didn't pack food and I knew we had leftovers so I went home for lunch.
All she does is complain and pick at me. I just lost it and yelled at her. I know my mom hates me. But I just can't deal with her. My bf and I both live there and pay all the bills. She is old and disabled. It is so stressful. The things she says are just so twisted and wrong! I hate how narcissistic she is. I just long for freedom. Idk what to do. I don't want to go home tonight.
but if she is disabled she can complain, she doesnt hate you. i think every parent would react in the same way because to her it looks like you forgot your lunch. yes it is stressful, but she has to also clear her mind too. I was also looking after my mum when when she was not able to speak and then she became wheel chair bound, and I was very very cautious when i was with her in case anything went wrong. but to our parents we are still their babies. maybe just be nicer to her and try to keep it calm and tell her good things you are doing which will make her happy and proud of you.
