This community is dedicated to the difficult challenges of transitioning from one career or job to a new one. Especially as we grow older, it can be very difficult to acquire the skills and relationships and take the financial risk to make the switch.
here's some good ideas for people who are looking for a way to make money without needing much experience, and no 9-5 garbage!
- dog walker / pet sitter
- recruiter/headhunter all from phone
- property manager for one or more small properties
- leasing people's condo units for them as apartments
- visit to talk to elderly people at home 1-2hrs a day, paid by their children
- personal chef with delivery to the home every night for bachelors/elderly
- 'event planner' for kids parties, relatively easy unlike, say, weddings
- secret shopper.. stores pay to test new recruits as tough customers
- affiliate for a gambling site - why? 1 or 2 addicts can make u $$
(make sure your affiliate pays residuals forever)
- buy stuff from china and sell locally in flea markets
- become a local detective to follow suspected cheaters around w/cam

they better pay something for me. become a local detective? u mean a PI? if so, you need to be trained for it. i never understood affiliates the companies never helped me had no idea what i was doing.

The idea of buying staff from China is kind of interesting. It can defenetely work but I never was in China so i have no idea where they buy staff over there. Is it like just regular retailers places or do you know any whoselers. I mean on small bases retailers probably will do it but is there are any whoselars that can sell it chipper ands do you have any information abiout any whoselers in China which except orders to ship staff abroad. I mean it is possible to go to China but it is defenetely way much better if staff could be shiped from there without the need to go there.

I thught about that many times myself but going to China actualy yourself involves a lot of unpaid effort, money for ticket, you can bring only limited amount of staff from there on the plane plus you have to have original investmend and than saell staff in local markets yourself so I was not sure that the profit which can be achieved by it will cover the physical effort spended on it. I mean the businesses that bring staff in big amounts cover their expenses. I mean it is defenetely possible if I would sill have work ethic I had before. In addition to your post some people sell schooters from USA to Germany and others countries of West Europe. In that case the person who lives in USA ships the staff to Germany and the person who lives in Germany sells it on ebay over there but it also requires a lot of investment and business conections over there. I just knew the person who did it.
