I just started a job I hate. How long do you have to stay at a job?
Here are other examples:
I retired, but decided that I still wanted to work. I took a full-time job. They put me up in a hotel for two weeks paid for my food while I trained. I then went through two more weeks of training at the actual location. I started working and quit after two weeks. It was a horrible job. I gave no notice and never include it on my resume.
I took another job. Again I went through two weeks of training. I quit after working only two days. It took me longer than my coworker who quit after only two hours.
I've since quit three other jobs. The reason: I don't need the money and will not work at a job I absolutely hate.
So, my advice to you is quit if you don't need the money. Don't think about what anyone says. The sooner the better, because you don't want a big gap on your resume that you'll have to explain.
