I need help.

I have written and rewritten my resume three times in the past few months, and the number of jobs I have applied for (over 125 at this point) and the number of interviews I have (only 8-9) is driving me batty.

At this point, I am open to anything that will get me hired/earn money (short of selling organs on the black market...I am not there...not yet). Does anyone know of a service such as Monster.com, Indeed.com or some other resume writing service that has had positive results? My situation is a bit unique since I have been a teacher for the past 15 years and now i face myself trying to find something, ANYTHING that will help me earn money for my family, and lets be honest, help get me some of my self-respect back.

Just a suggestion as a stopgap but how about serving? It' mostly nights so you can go on interviews during the day.

Look for a certified resume writer.. They are required to continue their education. Maybe there are ads for them on craigslist.

As far as finding stopgap employment I've had relative success with Indeed.com, Snag-a-job and Monster helpful too but I find Indeed to be the easier because of the easily apply option (for some job posts) where you just post your resume and not have to spend a half hour or more filling out an online application. Depending on the state in which you live there might be a .gov site that you can use to help with your job search. Also if you have a library card and your library county has good online resources you could be able to find resume and job search help that way. Best of luck to you in your search, I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm employed but it's only part time and I need more money for insurance and other things that I want.

Hi! Have you checked out lessons.com, varsity tutors and other tutoring/lessons sites? As a teacher, I'm sure you could get lots of students! When I was teaching music lessons, I was getting about $20/30-minute lesson. The down-side was that I had to drive to student's houses. Just a thought. All the best

Online tutoring is growing. Check out VIPkid )esl tutoring online) and Chegg. You can also try brick and mortar places like Kaplan.
