I have been battling candidiasis for years. For the last couple of years I have been losing the battle. By this I mean I am back on the junk food- not taking care of myself. The last year or so I have been struggling with endometriosis. was diagnosed in July. I was spending a couple of weeks a month in bed in severe pain on my right side. I have had ablation and 2 Lupron injections. I am feeling more energetic and no more mood swings, depression, much less fatigue. But guess what? The pain in my side is still there! Not as severe, but still there!
So I have an appointment next month to see about a hysterectomy. I lightbulb went off a couple of days ago and I thought maybe the pain is related to the yeast.
Does anyone have any feedback on this?
Also, I REALLY need help with the eating.
Any suggestions of how to get on the right eating track and help with the cravings?
THANK YOU!!!!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Don't know if this will be any help, but my best recommendation for cravings is to avoid them. Not that a bite of cake here and there is going to hurt, but I try to keep in mind that eating carbs and sugar only makes your body crave more carbs and sugar. So what was once a bite of cake might end up with an entire day of binging b/c it starts the cycle. When I tell myself this before taking that one bite, it helps to fight the craving.
To kill cravings, take Hoodia gordonii or Natrol PMS Control. Gymnema sylvestre works too. They are all miraculous.
I know that I have spontaneous bruising, breathing difficulties, environmental allergies. I used to suffer migraines until I received allergy shots for years to treat the environmental allergies and then they went away. Now I just have occasional pressure on my head when I eat the wrong things. I suffer joint pain and my knees swelling. I have problems with my memory and depression, but it is so worth getting back on your health food diet because every time I do, my symptoms start improving and I start feeling so much better! Just pray to God and don't stop trying! You can do it!
I have recently messed up also and the point I was trying to get to was that recently my daughter and I came up with a new symptom at the exact same time right after both of us were recovering from being sick. We are both suffering pain on our side. She is suffering worse than I am, but my diet is better than hers. I can't help but think that it is most likely related, and if it is not, this sure is a really big coincidence since I found your post and you have the same thing.
If it is not a cause or contributing factor, I sure would be surprised. Don't ever give up on your health, because with God we can do anything! I am struggling to get back on my diet and I can say from past experience that whenever I got my mind set to get well, I had to avoid all foods that caused me to crave or binge and that I know will make my condition worse. Sometimes I have stuck with it for a while and doing so good and then I could hit myself for not sticking with it longer when I was making so much progress. I have to avoid foods that feed the candida and make it worse. If I am eating really well then I can get buy with occasional pure maple syrup on my rice pancakes, so I don't feel totally deprived, and some fresh fruits now and then also.
I am going to keep trying to get back to where I was at and keep making progress. Just keep trying to make progress towards your goal a little at a time if you have to, and eat lots of vegetables! I have a mixture of vegetables that I cook from all fresh produce where I combine mushrooms, green beans, red potatoes; red, yellow, & orange peppers, eggplant, zucchini, tomato, garlic, olive oil, sometimes onion, cauliflower, broccoli, and then I add some water but I don't let it get too soggy. I like my vegetables a little firm still. You can make it with fewer vegetables or more. I have made it in different combinations and the garlic and plenty of olive oil flavor the water juices after it cooks and makes it so delicious that I could practically live on it.
I also buy frozen rice bread. I make fresh spinach omelets (I use my food processor to make the spinach leaves finely ground up). I make rice flour pancakes, and bake chicken removing the skin after it bakes a while and then sprinkling with salt-free Mrs. Dash. I love Muir Glen Organic Garden Vegetable organic pasta sauce to use to dip rice crackers in. I like rice crackers with oysters. I buy rice pasta and all kinds of gluten free products and brown wholegrain rice, of course. The trick is to have plenty of healthy foods on hand at all times to fill up on. I like celery and peanut butter and fresh carrots to munch on also. Don't keep any tempting foods on hand, and if you have to for others in your household, then you will have to learn to avoid them long enough until you can resist them and hopefully your family will not bring anything that is too overwhelming for you not to give into.
When you find a lot of foods you like and stick to those and start feeling so much better, than you don't want to go back to feeling terrible. I am not giving up and don't you. I will pray for you and please pray for us. Thank you! Avoiding refined sugar and wheat products has helped me immensely when I do. I also have to avoid chocolate because the caffeine bothers me and makes my skin more dried out and joint pain worsens and not being able to sleep. I also get very cranky so I need to avoid all caffeine and I start doing so much better. It can cause headaches. Anyway, I could probably go on and on, but I will stop here and thank you for posting your comment. A lightbulb went off in my mind too and asked the same question you posed to yourself, so most likely there is a connection.
