i went to get my haircut but the girl wasn't there. i got a good deal on franciscan at the thrift store at the other church and talked to the pastor about opening a food co-op. their prices are higher and he and his wife work inside there right now because the volunteers from before were stealing merchandize from there, the books didn't match the cash register etc. amazing! they were selling it on e-bay!

went to rn's and gave her cuticle oil, the coconut scent is gone and it bugs me. still does the job though. why do i notice things like that. rn didn't notice. saw the newborn kitten and morris, both doing well.

looked at p's house that b was tiling. its a small house, but p has always lived right here and doesn't want to move at all. then you hear the plight. her daughter lives in the house behind that one. she used to own the two beside it and lost them because her granddaughters never paid the bills on it, left her with the bills, didn't tell her...a lot of people with stories like that, rn says the daughter is just as bad and not paying even though its free and clear and just bills. WHY DO PEOPLE do that. she is selling the one on 6th, doesn't want to do landlording nor move, so i doubt she'll move to gainesville which is the other daughter's plan, who lives out there. too old for change. its that simple. "retire" right after high school and find your places. adapting when you are honestly old, is too late.

p.s. I don't use e mail much and I don't check it. people have to actually call me and say check your e mail I'm on there. can you have someone on ds relay info to you via their e mail if they are on there a lot?

it rained today. I slept a lot. I'm reading this book called astor place vintage and I'm at the sections that are from 1907 complete with photos and really enjoying it. hung with my dogs and cats. did some hand laundry which I discovered last year is very calming so I do this a LOT its better than a machine washer which has no medicinal value at all. had dinner at my friend's house. ate pancakes with real maple syrup and egg nog with rum etc in it for lunch.

MY ASSISTED LIVING IS SO BORING AND ILL-PLANNED THAT A FEATHER FALLING WOULD BE SOMETHING TO DO. I USED TO SUGGEST 100'S OF MOVIES ; NOW THE CRAP THEY PICK IS EITHER ANCIENT OR NONE OF THE STUFF I PICK [SO I STOPPED PICKING/BOTHERING TO GO] AND WHAT IS LEFT TO DO ABOUT AS EXCITING AS PICKING YOUR NOSE.THE FOOD HAS GONE SO FAR DOWNHILL IT STAYS AT THE BOTTOM [FLAVORLESS].

thought the toilet pieces fixed themselves but they didn't. need to read up and see if its easily fixable, maybe i can do it. took care of the animals. napped. finished reading swan lake (love it). bathed the dogs. had dinner at k's. watched forensic files which is excellent and the rest of the roosevelts. also good.

shopped up north and discovered there is a place just west of here that has shots really cheap for animals. have to check it out. its an orange building they said.
