I think one of the big problems is that every time we write something it goes onto the news feed and notifications so everyone can see it

I suggested a private group on FB... I don't know if that would work or not but DS does have a FB page and you can have private groups

What do people think of that??

What I have been told is that it doesn't just pop up in the newsfeed.

I have been told that if you go to ANY CL profile that is set to DS only then you cann see all the posts they have made, including in this group.

Oddly I thought previously that unlisted group activity was not visible but I'm told that is not the case by the member that manged to get in the last time.

I'm pretty sure there are others that take a sneaky peek at times.

Maybe it's because I am a CL but I see it in the newsfeed all the time and I'm sure people look in as well

I think Sun Cloud had a good Idea, In fact, I was actually thinking that before I read her reply.

With private chat on facebook you can invite others in and have a group chat.
That's one thing I miss about the old DS.

Does management listen to our suggestions or do we always get form letters saying it's on their wish list? Just wondering how much weight we carry around here.

Facebook,... I hate it with a passion. I am on it involving a business venture. I hate it, but it may be better than this ... in fact, it would be.

There are other sites like skype and google hangouts which I have used in the past for conference calls....they both work great imho.

My feeling is that we need a safe place to share our concerns without being judged for asking questions that need a balanced option.

I still remember wandering vet, pepper man, fish, sun, and sam helping me figure out how to stop that persistent individual who I closed the comment when he did scoli...after one person had replied.

There needs to be a way. We CL's simply need to be able to have confidential dialogue with each other and with DS staff.

If it's outside of DS I doubt if DS staff would join - I think Vet already established that.

Not that we have much confidential discourse with DS anywhere.

If it were on Facebook then I am sure DS would respond because it is their page, but since some of you don't want to chat on facebook then we will have to find an alternate site that makes everyone happy. What makes all the other CL's + DS happy, will make me happy. I will be there. If we can find a place that is agreeable to everyone including DS then we will accomplish something our own government can't do which is to compromise and find a solution that makes everyone happy. :-)

I have heard nothing (personally) from Jesse. I don't know if he is even connected to us anymore.

I just got a letter from someone about the bot journals. It was signed DS so I don't know who it was but it was in response to a question I had asked about the bot journals where I found the same journals listed under different usernames and he/she suggested I just give them one username because they think they are all coming from one computer so they are going to have their tech team ban the ip address..... if I understood that correctly.
