it is over. I had my last session after being violently attacked by my 9-year psychodynamic therapist who states he can not remember a thing he did or said but can remember everything I said and did during my last session. Convenient selective memory.
They (DBT leader and therapist) state I can not see how I interact with other people and that I am provactive and damage people with my interactions (words, body language) without knowing it. I have a disorder where I really hard to believe for even me that I do not have the observing eye that other people have to see when they themselves are doing wrong.
Well here I come - in full bloom to blow the world away with my words, no more nice no more pleasant, no more please, thank you or I am sorry. I have pulled out of every social group and going to have loads of fun being abusive because since I do not know I am doing it I will not know when I am or not. After 30 years of hard therapy this is the end, watch out world here I come.
In a couple of days I will leave this group for all of your best interests. Good luck.
I am giving up my puppy too because I have only had him for one month and he has been through enough with the other owners and I would never do anything intentionally to hurt him and since I do not know when it is happening, I need to protect him from me.

It would not help you to give up on a support group. Maybe reconsider your plans.
Hope that helps.
How sad that you felt you had to give up your puppy. Pets can be such a comfort and great company. But if you felt that you could not properly care for it then you did the right thing.
