Bullying Support Group
Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others, through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation. Bullying can be defined in many different ways, but one thing is clear: no one deserves to be bullied. If you or someone you know is coping with bullying, this is the place to share your feelings and get...

One thing I'd like to add though is that being bullied, in my opinion, does not have to be a death sentence and does not have to guarantee that you will have a bad life. While the victims have work ahead of them to become disabused of the negative thought patterns and to break the habits of compromising themselves for others, it is by no means impossible. It would take being determined and disciplined and would require a lot of self analysis and reflection.
In regards to your specific situation, if you are ever bullied or mistreated, tell a teacher or adult right away. More imperatively, if you feel suicidal, get help right away and seek counseling. It will be important to use all the resources available to you. As far as improving your life, well what worked for me was focusing on doing things that I love, that give my life meaning, and that occupy my mind. Through doing those things, I met more positive people and people that respected me, which was quite a contrast from earlier in my life. Last thing I'll say as I've already written a lot is to always listen to your feelings and if something or someone does not make you feel right, then make a change. I hope that you start to feel better and if you happen to read this please do keep the group posted.
If you are still getting bullied in school, either face-to-face or through social media, I want you to contact a trusted adult (ex. a parent, principal, favorite teacher) and tell them what's going on so they can stop further harassment from happening.
If you still are upset and have the urge to cut/commit, watch some of Onision's videos about those topics. They help me when I'm feeling sad, and I hope they can do the same for you.
Good luck, my friend! The internet is here for you!
Being bullied is not an indication of your weakness. It's an indication of the bullies weakness. Chances are they bullied you because you were someone they weren't or you had something they wanted.
I took a psychology class and one thing I thought was really interesting is the diathesis-stress model in which basically mental illnesses can be triggered in people who are genetically vulnerable to a mental illness if they experience types of physical or emotional stress. Without the factors it may always be dormant in the person.
I think this concept applies to bullying if that makes sense. Bullying was our trigger.
