I am exclusively breastfeeding but started my period today did I do something wrong is everything still ok I was told when your breastfeeding you wont get your period

For some people it delays your period, for others it does not. Its kind of a myth that you wont get your period or wont get pregnant while breastfeeding... I know a few people who got pregnant with their LO was 3ish months old.

as long as your supply seems good, then all will be fine.

I got my period 6 weeks after my post partum bleeding. it is normal to get it within a month and I've known women not have a period for almost 2 years. if it worries you, i'd check with your obgyn

Same as the other ladies... Breastfeeding affects all of our cycles differently. I am exclusively nursing my 8 month old baby girl and just got my period back this weekend. I did notice a slight dip in my supply right before I got it and I was very sore but all is back to normal now!

I got mine back at 7 weeks- man I was soo disappointed. There are general "rules" that are supposed to delay it. I think my little guy has been sleeping longer at night, so that might have done it.
