Hi-Well, I went for a mammo and ultrasound as my oncologist wanted me to. My oncologist felt a lump when I went for my regular check up last week. Well, the mammo and ultrasound showed nothing. However, when I had the cancer in my other breast, for which I had a radical mastectomy,f I could feel the lump, but it didn't show up on either of the screening tests. I'm scared that this is going to end up the same way. The doctor that reads the mammo and ultrasound came in the room and examined me, and he told my oncologist that he felt the lump that the oncologist found. So I am going to see a surgeon on this coming Thursday and see if he feels that anything needs to be done. I'm going to be 60 years old, and really don't feel like doing this again. I try not to be scared, but my sister and 2 of my friends all passed away from breast cancer all in one week in May-I just don't want to hear anything about cancer again. Anyway, can you just keep me in your prayers that everything will turn out ok? Thanks, and God Bless! Kathy
