"Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma", Moderately Differentiated.

Estrogen Receptor Positive: 100 percent
Progesterone Receptor Positive: 98 percent
HER2/NEU NEGATIVE (0/3+)

Does this make any sense to anyone? LOL

Yes it does. It means that you have a spreadable kind of cancer that is relatively easy to treat as you can take hormone blockers to stop the estrogen and the progesteron and the growth stops. HER2 Neg means you won't have to take Herceptin for a year, yeah for you.

Thanks! :) Yeah!! So far I am told I will be going for 16 weeks of radiation treatments. But am terrified to know the results of the Lymph Nodes...

My pathology report is practically a twin of yours. I had a bilateral mastectomy on 4/30 so I won't be getting radiation. Just saw the oncologist today, Chemo. is still up in the air right now. Tamoxifen is apparently a done deal but when, I don't know. I guess it depends on whether I need chemo.
I am a little overwhelmed today. I'd kind of skipped over this part in my mind and was focusing on starting reconstruction. Oh, well, it could defintely be much worse.
