Lumps in Armpit

Okay I have been getting painful lumps in my armpit before my period then it goes away after...I brought it up to my doctor and she said probably due to hormones....I am so scared that it could be breast cancer anyone have the similar thing happen to them?

My friend has had this, and she was told not to worry too. She was told to lay off caffeine, that it makes it more pronounced. But if you're really worried, have your doc do an ultrasound (they're oh so fun lemme tell ya, just annoying but great for seeing stuff) or a needle biopsy. If she says no, find another doc. You can ask for those tests to rule out and insurance will cover.

Hang in there, okay? It's probably nothing, but for your own mental health, rule those lumps out as just lumps. You're in my thoughts!
