I had a year ago my mammogram , it was 20 years from diagnosed as a very young woman, and a mass was found in my natural breast, I have had several biopsies in all this years , all negative, microcalcifications removed from my chest wall behind my reconstruction.
This mass was different, fast multiplying cells, and I ask to remove the whole mass instead of just doing a biopsy.
Was removed and my follow up was a diagnostic mammogram every 6 months, and a MRI in between.
Make sure you have a good follow up, and get yearly chest X rays, any pain , or discomfort tell your oncologist.
I see mine yearly, my breast specialist also yearly.
It can come back , and early it can be removed.
