Hi everyone-Never thought I'd be here after so many years, but here I am. In 1995, I had a mastectomy due to an invasive ductal carcinoma. I had 9 months of chemo, but no radiation due to the position of my tumor, too close to my heart. I was on Tamoxifin for 5 years, and Femara for 6 years now. I was in for my checkup (I go every 3 months), and the doctor found a lump that I was not aware of. I will be having a mammo and ultrasound done on the 8th to see what's there. I am so nervous. My sister died in May from cancer-she was diagnosed 9 months before she died. I'm still not over that. I am so scared that the cancer is back. I also lost 2 good friends to breast cancer the same week my sister died. I'm so tired of cancer claiming so many people I know. I also have lupus, fibromyalgia, lost my job in May of 2008 and haven't found work yet. 6 weeks ago, I fell and was diagnosed with a TBI-lost my memory, balance problems, headaches etc. I don't want anything else. It seems like bad stuff keeps happening, and for once I'l like to not have to worry about my health, whether I'll have food for this week, and things like that. So can you just say a little prayer that my cancer is not back (or a new cancer). Sorry for making this so long. God Bless! Kathy
