A little bit of back ground on myself. In my family there is a history of breast cancer, every other generation gets it. My generation is the next to get it. On my actual biological side of the family.
Anyways back to my problem. For the past couple of months I have been having pain in my breasts. So I performed a self exam. There is a hard spot about as big as a half dollar on one breast, and a hard spot on the other the size of a quarter.
My question is should I go see a doctor? I'm probably being kinda childish about this, but the mother who raised me ( she isn't my biological mother) died of Breast Cancer. I am honestly scared. And are there any suggestions on what it could be?

I don't think it is a good idea to get diagnoses online from non-qualified strangers.
I think you should see your doctor to put your mind at rest. If it is not cancer, then you can stop worrying. If it is you will have got it early and so any treatment is more likely to succeed.
