I just found this song on the net and it reminds me of a story.

I was at a bar with some friends and there was some Kareoke going on (I can't spell worth a damn). My friends kept on pushing me to sing something. I kept on saying no because I can't sing worth a damn either. I was drinking rum (bad) and later on the evening I was tired of them pushing me to sing. Finally I got up and sung but it wasn't any of the house songs. I sang this song:

I warned them! I seriously warned them but they had to hear me sing. You could have heard a pin drop in the place when I finished that one.

We use to sing that song from time to time when I was racing sailboats on one of the boats that I was sailing on.

Heave- Funny- I needed a laugh. When I lived in Seattle, we used to go to an Irish Pub Kel's downtown, and they used to sing this song alot. Good days. Great days. :)

Well Vac....It wasn't a dream and there was still rum... Well...it was a bar so they aren't supposed to run out of rum.

Honestly I am off the rum for now. I have two bottles (I guess if you add them together they would equal one) of Captain Morgan (who was the most successful pirate besides Bart Roberts, A.K.A. Black Bart) but I just haven't been a rum drinking mood. Probably because I haven't been down to the boat much lately, except for the storm and I was staying as sober as the Pope for that experience!

Nothing like a good sea shanty to really get things going.
