I also know, if you're anything like me, hearing someone say "it will get easier" isn't exactly comfortin because it sounds hollow.
Just know that I, and I'm sure others, understand how you feel and have been where you are.
I am so sorry you are going through this pain. I really hope some sort of peace will settle in so you can deal with what needs to be dealt with and not be quite so terrified of the future. Baby steps, one foot in front of the other and for now.
You did nothing to deserve this. If she felt there was something wrong, she should have told you long ago.
Maybe, instead of hoping she comes back, you should start living your life for you. After her leaving the way she did, I don't know if I could ever trust her not to do the same thing again.
