The hardest part is letting go. Everything after that is amazing.
I'm warning you though, it is going to be really difficult. You will have heart ache, your mind will go a million miles a minute, you will lose sleep. You just have to remember to hang in there it gets better. IT GETS BETTER. I know you aren't going to want to forget this person and the thought of that right now will worry you but by the time you realize you will be just fine, you won't even want to bother with her anymore. We are all here to support you. Whenever you feel like you are going to lose it, log on. We'll hold you up until you get through this.
Not for her but for you as well. I find it is best. Good luck!
until then, you might ask yourself why you have chosen a woman who tends to get cold feet. there are many women who can and will commit completely without hesitation to a good man.
I want him back more than anything, but I am using this time to prepare myself for the "what if" he doesn't come back. Just focus on YOU right now!
((((HUGS))))
Maybe give yourself a time like say a week and then give her a call just to let her know you are thinking about her and wondering how she is doing etc. From that you could get an idea of where she is at with the no contact thing.
The other piece of advice I got that helped me feel more in control, less frustrated, and have the ability to move on was to send the ex an email saying "I agree with this break up. I have a lot to think about so I would appreciate it if you would not contact me. I'll be in touch when I am ready,"
I sent that to an ex after skipped a date and then ignored me for a week. None of my other texts were replied to, but he did reply to the above email. At least I knew he was a jerk and not killed in a car accident or something!
I have been NC for more than 30 days and I don't even want to contact this guy anymore. And I have been working on me the whole time. Not one ounce of time wasted there.
Best to you!
set her free.
If her love is true,
she'll come back to you.
If she stays away,
love wasn't meant to be.
