This is ridiculous, I know, but I have to get this out. I am still struggling with my divorce from May. My heart is broken and I am trying to mend it. I just talked to my 87 year old mom who lives in assisted living in another state and she told me she received a Christmas card from my ex. No message, just card. She really liked him (at one time) and he thought a lot of her - used to call her "Mom" (his real mother had always been emotionally absent to him). Anyway, she just told me this and it is tearing me up. I am not sure why?
my stbx was closer to my mom too than his own mom and my mom is devestated he cheated on me.
I know mine would not have the nerve to send my mom a card.
I can see why it would tear u up.
go easy on your self BUT cwalla he is not worth you still grieving over him. They play mind games with us, move on with thier lives but leave us behind and still do uncalled for things to push our buttons.Sounds like you and I both thought we had it all.
and now it seems like everything is taken from us.
these are only tempory setbacks and we both will come out on top someday !!!!! hang in there
