Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
When I was in therapy going through my divorce, the therapist did not diagnose me with anything, but said I exhibited some BPD tendencies.
We didnt incorporate a lot of DBT into my remaining sessions, but what we did use was extrmely helpful. I took more out of my last 4 sessions than I did in the prior 5 months and finished therapy on a really high note.
For anyone in therapy, I highly recommend discussing DBT with your therapist. Being more mindful has changed my perspective to view everything in a more objective way, which removes a curprising amount of complication from my life and massivley aids in problem solving.
