Going to a Gala 50th birthday for a this weekend. It is black or white... What color should I wear? In the summer I get a good tan, so I think white.

Mind you, this is coming from a guy.

Unless your hair is bleached or it is a very formal event, it' summer- go with the white.

Personally I never wear white because I invariably spill something on it. But you may not have that issue :-) I like the black with red idea!

Both would be fitting. White cus it is summer and to go with your tan, black cus its elegant and goes with your bling. :)

love all the ideas. Thanks.. Trying to post something positive. Starting over isn't easy but, it is OK, one day at a time. Working on getting out more. Last month I went to an after work social. I have a dinner date Thurs after work so, we shall see. Then another girlfriend is trying to fix me up. Then this 50th b-day gala. I am a work in progress.
