snuggling with your dog watching a chic flick with a tub of ice cream....:)
I have always found my own happiness..
Complete self acceptance. Making others happy when
you're feeling miserable yourself.
The little things that don't cost much (or are free) but bring a lot of joy.
Peace in your soul (I'm working on this one!)
An attitude of gratitude.
May we all find happiness~~~
I like I'mhealing's answer. I think self acceptance is important. I'm still working on that. The stuff the other people said - the simple things, like a sunset, being content with what you have, a sense of purpose. I've heard the suggestion when you're lonely and unhappy to go out and help others. Thanks for starting this discussion. :)
We forget that, because we are barraged every minute of every day that to be happy we need to have a successful high paying career, own lots of things, be thin and beautiful, muscular & handsome, be popular, be married...blah blah blah blah
Happiness is fleeting and right now it's hard to remember that we can choose every minute of every day whether or not we are happy.
1. state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy
