The wonderful feeling that I am ok, and I can manage to live on my own, and to really enjoy the peace inside and out.
What a total pleasure to come home to a peaceful house after a day at work, and to be able to spend an entire evening without an angry word being spoken!!!
Silence - there is no one else here!!
An absolute pleasure most of the time.......... because if I want noise I can make it myself and it will be of my own choosing!!
I often toy with this idea of writing a book one day about everything that I really needed to know and understand in life, I learned from my divorce.
For all the pain and grief, I am now such a better person. Strange how that can happen.
Yes, I too confirm that my pains were really gone. I'm living a happy single life and I don't expect any thing more.
Good luck to all who are on your path. You'll get there. I promise.
"And the last thing I want to say.....be a student who is hungry for the knowledge of themselves, I never stop asking questions about myself....not for vanity purpose but because I want to become a better person."
I've always had an insatiable thirst for knowledge - but I never really bothered to get to know myself throughout my marriage because I ended up becoming a person I didn't quite like or recognize any more. I guess we tend to gravitate toward people we know we will probably like, and I seem to have avoided myself perhaps because I knew deep down I didn't really like that person. I wish I had taken the time, because I may have been able to see my own unhappiness. Then again, perhaps I wasn't ready to see it.
Now that I have started to ask myself questions and do some of the toughest soul searching I have ever faced, I realize that I like who I am becoming. The woman I am slowly evolving into is a much more enjoyable woman. And when I can finally welcome my good friend fear by my side as I take my first step toward individuality and happiness, I know I will not be alone.
Thanks for posting. It really made me think.... big hugs to you.
