As for your question... one can never waste time on the happiness and joy's of love, soulmate or not. As much as it pains me right now, if I were to be offered the gift of another's heart then I'd jump at the opportunity because to live without love would be far more painful.
How long has it been since your split?
If she desired me, I was was hers, if she needed me for tasks around the yard, I was hers, if she needed emotional support, I was hers. Without question and without complaint did I try to show her just what my love had to offer. I made sure to complement her as often as I could, serve up romance as a matter of utmost importance, and make her feel beautiful and desired every time we made love.
It's been about a week now since I've started going through the pains of my loss. And don't misunderstand, when I say that I'd jump at the opportunity for love, I merely mean in the future at some point.
Right now I'm still confused, hurt, afraid, and soul sick to have any capacity for love. But I will never lose hope for love is far to great a thing to ever truly give up on.
As for her, she is starting a new and exciting relationship with another and for her am I happy. To be bitter would only cheapen what we shared and I'd not want that. After all, I am thankful for the happiness that we did have together.
Sometimes people can grow apart without there being anything wrong, at least I'd like to think that anyways.
