Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I find the heartbreak is worse when I am stressed about things.
Hope you feel better soon.
wished so often that I could have it erased from memory
or scrubbed right out of my heart
and in the end I had to just learn to accept it
and over time I noticed the feeling would come on strong like a wave, and I'd take notice but not "feel" anything about it (no self-admonishment, or frustration or panic or heartache) and it would just drift out again like a quick tide
its been 6 years and it still happens but hardly ever, and fleeting and faint
so I guess not freaking out about it, but being patient and relaxed helps, while time does all the rest
this is the price we pay for falling in love
its not a shallow emotion
so, after they leave, we focus our love toward those who still remain.
I can relate with you a lot..because I had troubles letting go as well...I realized that we don't necessarily stop loving people regardless of how much they've hurt us..we just love them differently..like how much we love everything and everyone we no longer have and just existed in the past --
What we have is now... and all we have is ourselves to love some more... and the possibilities of new things coming to our life, now that someone who had burdened us is no longer there...what we love are the good side of people...but if their bad side starts to suck the life out of us..then we have to show tough love...
we don't stop loving, after all, we're human. Be strong and just cry it out. You are loved..and look around, divert that love to those who can return it unconditionally :)
All the best to you!
