hello everyone. me and my long term girlfriend broke up last week after a 2 week trial seperation. we would have been together for 6 years this may and she was everything to me.

last year was very busy for us both but more so for her as she works full time and she is running for a local county council seat for a well know political party that i wont mention on here but lots of things have changed in the last few years and she has evolved into a busier stroger person. we have alsways been good together because even in her hectic days she always told me that i was the peace and love that she couldnt wait to get home to, we could just sit curled up on the sofa and not say a word and she would feel the peace i gave out.

i thought everything was great but i had a few things in my past that i had'nt sorted out and it was starting to annoy her. 

anyway when we was in the trial seperation i asked her why she wanted the trial seperation and not just straight out end of the relationship and she told me that she still loves me and she doesent want to lose everthing i offer and give her.

then yesterday i had to speak to her and i asked if i could call, she yes anytime. i called and i mentioned that the split might be harder for me than it is for her because she is so busy and has lots of distractions to take her mind off of the split. she then told me that its been really hard for her to, she said she has started missing me and waking up and not liking me not being there in the morning and she said shes been looking at our pictures. 

so now im confussed, i really want her back in my life but i know she also needs space at the moment because she has told me that too, it sounds like she might be starting to realise that we had something really special together and remembering what we had.

what do i do now. we split up on thursday night and we hugged and both cried together, she even said she will miss me, i messaged her on friday regarding all the things in the house that i need to take and all the stuff im going to leave for her and the kids , we had a long post of messages and we even remenised how this time 5 yrs ago we went to our first concert together and she said she will never forget all the great times we had together. i then text her on saturday saying i need to get some stuff that night and she said that was ok but i never did go in the end and then yesterday i had to call her because i was feeling so low and i need to hear her voice and ask her something about the split, this is when she told me she is really missing me.

i know i should stop contacting her now but what do you think? she still loves and misses me and i do her. i think if i keep contacting her it might push her away even more but if i stop then there might be a very small chance of reconciliation.
