what am i suppose to do?

It was my court appointed time, to see my daughter . And my mother- in- law left town with her. Not getting ANY help from the police.

Is there an order for her not to be removed from the state w/out your permission? If so the police should be helping..

bigbear- Same thing happened to me. The court order does no good to the police because it is so subjective like it states "everyother weekend" and the police can not take your word that it is YOUR weekend. And your ex can say that they are on vacation...this will appease the court. Thats the bad news.

The good news is you document it and call your lawyer! When you go back to court this will really reflect poorly on your ex. and the court will give you more visitation if you want it! It also allowed me to ask for supervised visitation when grandparents or anyone else has demostrated lack of reason when watching your children.

Do not fly off the handle or the ex will slap you with a restraining order which is really easy to get.

no sure how to respond back. I have a court oder signed by the judge that she is mine from the first sunday after school gets out until the last sunday before school starts. Filled a contemp motion with the judge.Then they have to set a hearing..my summer time wuill be ovber by then.
