I just realized earlier today that it has been 6 months since I found this website and it got me to thinking about how far I have come since then. I came here on New Years Day needing help because I had been trying for a month to deal on my own and it wasn't working. I was barely making it through each day - and then thanks to Google, I found DS. It really was the first site I clicked on and I read some threads and knew this was the place I needed to be. I saw people that were hurting but it was more than that, I saw that these same people who had been hurt were helping each other. They were able to lend a hand when someone was down and joke and laugh together. It gave me hope that I could get through my pain too.

Now 6 months later there are still bad days, but I don't have to start each day wondering how to survive it. All of you wonderful people on here are to thank for that, you have helped me so much and I will be forever thankful for that and for all of you. For any new people reading this, know that it will get better. I was skeptical when I was told that because I thought the kind of pain I was feeling would be there forever but it has gotten better and I am confident now that it will continue to improve. In the words of our wonderful Z I will continue to march, march, march.
