Anyways I understand! I find just getting out - even sitting in the cinema with others - sitting in a coffee shop - doing something a lil special on the weekend helps. Something to get me out of the house out of the loneliness....
It's touch when you run into family or acquaintances of your ex...I am lucky I guess that I had an LDR (long distance) ..thank heaven's I didn't agree to add them all to facebook. I felt it in my gut and kind of side stepped it...cos they all seemed to love me..the family, the friends...but he was hot and cold and I was like..hmm..I can see me letting them all into my world and then bam. Lose them all..
sorry for the long reply. Guess I'm hemorrhaging all over the boards lol.
hope your weekend turned out bearable....made any plans for thanksgiving? Just wondering. I used to love that holiday when i was in the U.S. - we don't have it here in NZ so I've only gotta face this wedding and christmas and every other day in between.
:) blessings!
Personally, I love hiking. I love getting out and doing long hikes for a few hours in some scenic areas with great views. I don't go alone. I usually go with a group or some friends to get some social interaction and really appreciate the experience. I think being outdoors helps too.
Everyone needs to be fed in five different ways: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social. I think that since your break up you are neglecting some of these areas. Take time to make sure that you are doing what you should do to feed your whole being.
If you don't like hiking, think of something else you can do outdoors with a group, but by all means, don't spend the weekend home alone.
